OBJECTIVES
Exploring Our Initiative, Learn About Us
Agripreneur Cameroon, supported by SPLASH NETWORK, engages youth in sustainable agripreneurship to boost food production and combat food insecurity in Cameroon and Africa.
Application
Schools from each of Cameroon's ten regions are invited to apply online or in person, with six schools per region selected; an endorsement letter from the school administration is required for participation.
Preparation and Initial Rounds
Selected schools will receive study materials and designate teams of four students to compete. Over three months, these teams will participate in weekly competitions, with fixtures determined by a selection panel.
Public Engagement and Finals
The program will be broadcast online and on TV, culminating in semi-finals and finals in Douala and Yaoundé. Public voting will play a key role in selecting the best projects for final awards.
Methodology
The program will run annually starting in September, with 100 schools expected to apply nationwide. Regional selections will lead to finals during Youth Week in February.
